Produce Market

Saturday I made my weekly trip to the local produce market.  For less than $10 I purchased:
  • 3 zucchini
  • 3 yellow squash
  • 1 eggplant
  • 1 pint tiny tomatoes
  • 3 green bell peppers
  • 2 pints tiny potatoes
  • and 1 red bell pepper
Tonight we're having Eggplant Parmesan (using spaghetti sauce from the liquidation grocery store shopping trip), much to the joy of my younger daughter.

The green peppers were 3/$1, which is a great price in my part of the country. If we don't use them all this week I'll slice and freeze to use when the price goes back up to $.75 each.
